In-Class Discussions : Loss and Damage Issues in The Subject of Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management

The material regarding the issue of loss and damage is included in the subject of Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management, Natural Resources, and Environmental Management Science Study Program, Graduate School, IPB University. This learning activity (in-class discussions) was attended by 27 master and doctoral students, both from Indonesia and international students. The purpose of including loss and damage issues in the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management courses is for students to be able to understand the concept of loss and damage, identify risk-forming factors, and design climate change adaptation actions in climate change risk management. effort. Material loss and damage were provided by Dr. Perdinan, where the teaching and learning process is carried out online. In addition, students also take response classes or exercises guided by practical assistants to deepen their understanding of the material that has been delivered during lectures.
